Shoot To Thrill

Day One 18/2/11
The first day of filming seemed to go reasonably well during the time of filming, but when it came to getting into the studio and capturing all of our footage we realised how out of focus some of the shots were, and how badly the white balance was. Some of our shots are usable, it's just the majority of this shoot will need filming again due to technical difficulties.

First day of filming

Our first day of production was held yesterday at the Showroom, where we managed to film
a few shots which we will later on import our animated character Neil into our composition. We managed to get a load of EXT/INT shots which will be of use as our videos should each span the length of about a minute, Neil doing his little sketch will also fill up time nicely.

More filming to come next week.

Presentation Prep

Next Friday is the presentation.
A draft of the presentation that we would present had been produced, although changes had to be made to the document due to the marking scheme on the module documents asking us for more information. This will be done by the weekend, as our group is always prepared.

Bringing the character to life!

Here is a near to complete sketch of our character Neil.  Zoe has said that she's got to update a few things with his side view and then we can bring our character to life.

Initial thoughts and ideas

When first hearing Colin explain our task I was very confused, I had no clue as to what was going on to be honest, and when I thought I finally understood it I was wrong haha. Finally I understand the project’s requirements, and my group and I are talking about various different ways we can produce something for the augmented reality project.  As I have teamed up with the same faction as last year for the integrated work, I’m sure we will be able to combine all of our knowledge and course learnt strength’s again, so that we can contribute our group’s attributes and make this Augmented Reality piece something to standout and be full of creativity.
